Visitors may camp at the Jaaluni
official campsite. You must remember that you are in a
nature reserve and appropriate behaviour is necessary. The
campsite has no facilities at present.
 Tents
might be comfortable for some visitors but the absence of
mosquitoes means that sleeping under the stars is possible.
However, at certain times of the year (October-November &
March-April) it can get a little wet at night - since fogs
and dewfall are common. Otherwise the climate is similar to
that of northern Oman.
Fuel for cooking must be brought into
the Sanctuary. Gas or wood 'offcuts' from Muscat can be used
but local wood should NOT be used. All equipment
and rubbish must be taken away at the end of the visit.
